Originally, this CD was going to be called "Guitars SUCK"
A quirky mix of instrumental guitar music and hard rock, a la Chili
Peppers, Zappa, Hendrix and Mr. Bungle - guest guitarists include
Mattias Eklundh and Dweezil Zappa - 100% of the profits donated to
disaster relief organizations.
After the tragedies of September 11th, there was no question but to
dedicate this CD to the incomparable honor, courage, and bravery of
all those who gave their lives to save others, to the memory of all
those no longer with us, to the comfort and healing of those suffering
with personal losses. And also to commemorate the unbreakable goodness
of the human spirit. In times of tragedy, we join together and are
there for each other. Nothing can destroy the collective human spirit
- those who try only make it stronger. |

"...more
experimental than Hands, with most of the tracks being
instrumentals. Bumblefoot is easily the most unheralded guitarist out
there. What he does is beyond amazing and needs to be heard to be
believed...you WILL be blown away by what you hear."
Rock And A Hard Place
"If you're into pumping and hard-slamming axe with killer solos laced
throughout, you'll love this release."
John W. Patterson / All About Jazz
"Nothing on this record is a cliché or formula; Bumblefoot's
arrangements, melodies and guitar playing are remarkably inventive and
exciting, and never suffer from showoffitis even at their most insane"
Rog Billery-Mosier / Satan Stole My Teddy Bear
"Bumblefoot's amazing technique & fretless guitar playing make the
album worthwhile to guitar fans of all varieties, but more
importantly, the innovative songs and sheer amount of emotion put into
the work is more than enough to make me rank the CD as something all
music fans should look into."
Eric Rasmussen / Starvox
"Bumblefoot is not just another extremely technically proficient
guitarist. His eclectic style, combining metal, jazz, classical, &
funk is at its best on this album. If you appreciate top notch
musicianship, but are tired of hearing groups that all sound the same,
get this CD!"
Gianmarc Johns
"One of the true geniuses of the electric guitar. How one piece of
reflective plastic can encompass so many different styles of music and
yet stay true to that good old BBF originality amazes me every time."
